The trip, the posts from the begining:

3,000 kilometers so far, almost according to the plan

Today we went up north to a stunning routes between flowing rivers and canyons. The roads are broken and dusty. We and bikes look like one
big lump of mud, everything looks special, intense and difficult.
We are located in northeastern Turkey, Hktz’kr. We have rode 3,000 kilometers so far, almost according to the plan, despite some expected and
unexpected glitches.
The Landscapes here: east of Turkey along the borders of Syria, Iraq, Iran, Armenia amazing, powerful. It raises a lot of respect for nature and
humble facing what is around us. our most beautiful discovery were the people, simple, good, generous, hospitable, reliable by any measure possible. A
human experience of the first degree.

We rode for two days along the Russian coast and Ukrainian
Here in Russia. We crossed the Black Sea, the ride took almost a full day instead of 12 hours. We landed in Sochi, two strange birds with
motorcycles,
We are at the gates of Moscow, in the recent days the Internet was difficult to obtain, and today we have Internet at an amazing city named Tola, the hotel isA
nice to us. The hotel was recommended by A motorcyclist who met us in the middle of the city while looking for a hotel. His friend brought us to a restorer of
old motorcycles, even a Russian Lambert, 40 years old is still riding under his capable hands.

Moscow is amazing till the point of fainting, at least I can speak on my behalf. THe Huge city of nearly 15 million inhabitants with a ring road of 120 km long,
Endless movement of hundreds of thousands of vehicles, we found a BMW garage after 3 hours of exhausting search in the traffic, clogged roads. When we
entered the garage we felt at HOME.

We have captured the northernmost point in Europe
We reached there while the temperatures is 4 degrees to the famous globe which symbolizing the famous ‘tourist trap’ that is called the NordKappe. Northern landscape, cold, dotted with patches of snow, reindeer, colorful cottages on the shores of lakes and fjords.
The way to the Atlantic and the “trolls” Path
Norway, land of eternal sun … only in the summer ..
The four of us, Avi and Deborah on the Adventure a new red and equipped bmw motorcycle, Jacob on the “Dakar” a surprising surviver. We roll south at a rate of between 500 to 350 miles per day Along the coast of Norway, the fjords which don’t end, lakes, glaciers, mountains and sea, ferries and bridges and tunnels without end, the length of the tunnel can be 150m and some times over 7 miles, lot of meetings with bikers along the way,

In the last week we turned out in Denmark, Germany, Belgium, Czech Republic, Austria
This morning we climbed the amazing transition “Trnsfgrs” which is striking out the Carpathian ridge at an altitude of over 2800 meters
We’re back on the road. After a riding in several Central European countries, some alone and some together, we crossed the Danube from Romania to Bulgaria on a ferry. Last week we turned in Denmark, Germany, Belgium, Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary. We re-met in Budapest and we went to Romania. Romania is beautiful and unique. Preserved in time. We have experinced areas where time stood still for more than a 100 years. A country of wooden churches, painted monasteries, mountains, farmers and lot of green. We had a special experience visiting a special cemetery, the work of a local priest, is simply amazing and one of a kind.
In the morning we climbed into the transition of Htrnsfgrs striking out the ridge of the Carpathian Mountains at an altitude of over 2800 meters, which is an experience of the first degree. We came to Bucharest when the temperature are above 30 degrees and don’t give up, despite the traffic jams, we ate one of most delicious Kababas I’v ever tasted. Tomorrow we move to Bulgaria through the center towards Turkey, the smell of the house getting stronger and we eager to get on the motorcycle. I appreciate that until the end of July we return home. we will share with you in detail the hardships and wonders of this journey.
Doron on GS1200, Jack on Dakar 650.
61 days of riding, voyage length of 20,000 km less a few tens of kilometers, an average of 325 miles per day.
Average speed over 60 mph the entire trip!, (My maximum 133 mph).
The Longest riding Day was 726 km, 12 km shortest.
Average fuel consumption during the whole journey Dakar 22 km / liter. BMW 1200, 21 km / liter.
